LET'S LEARN TO SWIM!
Mermaid Academy is now accepting swimmers for private lessons in May and June, 2023. Limited spots are available due to high demand! Please read the booking information carefully. We look forward to swimming with you!
We swim Tuesday - Thursday, and we come to you. Upon booking, please indicate your preferred day and time. We will do our best to accommodate you!
Currently only servicing the following cities: Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta and Indio.
All we need is a clean private pool or access to a community pool.
Each 30 minute lesson is $100 for ages 0-3.
Each 45 minute lesson is $125 for ages 4-7.
Each 1 hour lesson is $140 for ages 8-17.
There is a 6 lesson minimum for local families.
A deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot via venmo @melissaswims, or an invoice can be emailed to you via square with an additional 2.9% service fee.
All fees are deducted from your deposit first, then billed subsequently.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
We do not charge an additional fee to cancel or reschedule lessons. Life happens. Please cancel when your child,or any other child in your household is sick. We're happy to reschedule to keep others healthy.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS FEARFUL OR TIMID?
Most children are initially apprehensive or have an aversion to going underwater. We have worked with hundreds of children to overcome fear and anxiety surrounding learning to swim. Each lesson is customized to individual needs.
HOW MANY LESSONS WILL IT TAKE?
Every child is different, so we won't know until we meet them!
DO I NEED TO GET IN THE POOL TOO?
No! Lessons are more successful when grown-ups stay inside. We'll call you outside at the end to show-off!
